Had some young guys today that are on an “extended” spring break and wanted in on some drag pulling!

What a way to enjoy an "extended" spring break. I never got one of those...was always in fear of an "abbreviated" spring break....or none at all!

Anyone fish Whitney today? Was wondering how much the storms affected the main/lower part of the lake? Looks like the lake level is still rising this afternoon. Can't decide between fishing there or PK tomorrow.

Nope, not enough river upstream. Texoma is the only freshwater body of water they successfully spawn in. 2 reasons 1. the miles of open river and 2. the salt content in the Red. I helps to keep the egg bouyant.

This is true! There are actually a few more water bodies they spawn in and that’s not to say a few dont successfully spawn, for the most part they just can’t produce enough to naturally sustain a fishery.
