Yes, I tow an average of 6000 miles a year. Rotate (3 wheel) every 6 months.

I did mine last week, plus check air pressure and inspect trailer brakes

If you watch you'll see that the front wear faster than the rears...i just switch them out every year...front to the rear...rear to front...

I did mine last week, plus check air pressure and inspect trailer brakes Why are trailer brakes so much more expensive than brakes on regular trucks or cars was quoted anywhere from $500-$1000 just for a single axel boat trailer. This is insane!

I don't know why the quotes would be so high. You can often buy complete new assemblies for far less. The swap out gets pretty simple when you install complete (pre-assembled) brake kits. Many with a bit of mechanical ability can swing it via that route - though it's important to know how to bleed the brakes properly after making the swap.

If your talking about dual axle running steel belts, I rotate front to back annually.
