With side scan, down scan, and sonar. Who has one of these? Pros and cons?

The 7x without card slot/third party chip or the regular 7 with card slot?

I’d say no on the 7x. I’d want to be able to upload trails and waypoints from third parties and third party mapping options

The 7 maybe. I think Lowrance could have done better with their transducer and power cord connection design and overall button/plastic quality on the Hook series.

Mapping on those units sucks. Slow.

I have the triple shot and the transducer is long and is only connected by a very small neck. I have broken it off several times. I would strongly recommend something else.

Yeah, as of right now I think I'm gonna go with the mega side imaging unit from Hummingbird.
