Good call. CDC suggested cancelling events with gatherings of more than 50 people. Lot more than 50 people would be at the event.

I get it but the risk of getting a virus outdoors is very small. In 1918 during the flu pandemic the moved everyone in the hospital outside in the sun and guess what they got better.. I hope that this goes by quickly and we don't panic even more.

Its a stupid call. This whole thing is stupid, quit listening to the doom and gloom over a one off flu that mutated from the original flu like it does every 2 years or so. hard times are close if they dont get their head out their a$$ pretty quick. If you ever wondered how socialism will take this country, take a look at what they are doing right now..

Horrible call. The odds of catching a virus outside are really slim. These fishing tournaments getting canceled and postponed is insane. The regular flu kills more people every year and nobody freaks out about it.

SRA won’t allow anything over 50 people at any facilities on T Bend until atleast May maybe longer. Looks like their hands were tied.

TTT didn’t make the call, the Governor of Louisiana and the SRA did. They are not allowing any kind of events with more than 50 people. Yep I agree it’s stupid but don’t blame TTT

We as a society train specialists to learn everything there is to know about health and disease prevention. We trust these people to guide us in things you and I do not understand enough to make wise judgment. They are saying this is an exceptional situation that requires a higher level of attention than the bugs we regularly deal with. All these restrictions suck... they suck hard and we're not even close to the worst of it yet. But, I trust the people who have been trained to handle this kind of thing and will do my best to abide their recommendations.

Where did you get that information? Who exactly are the trained people you are talking about. The media has blown this out to be a nation wide panic.

My wife is well trained in this( Nurse Practitioner) and she go outside and enjoy it. A virus does NOT like open areas like being outdoors.. This has not killed more people than they flu this season. They had someone call in with what they thought was Covid 19.. The ask if she a a temp and she said NO! They ask her NOT to come in at this time. There are a lot of people who might have covid 19 but never go to the doctor because it was so mild for them. The Gov. of Ohio even said the rate at which people had the virus was higher than reported. This is a virus and viruses love cold damp weather and we are not getting any colder here. I get TTT having to cancel because they had NO choice.

My odds of catching anything in a tournament seems to be low most of the time.

Yeah, cause 50 boats spread out on a 120,000 acre lake is going to hurt anything.

Oh well, more fishing for me!

Well the weigh in and pre tournament meeting is what they are trying to prevent.
