It looks like I did great on my sleep study. The average over two night , something they call the AHI/RDI, I scored a 64.8. . Snoring volume peaked out at 81Db. 18 obstructed apnea an hour. My best obstruction was 107 seconds. It doesn’t look like I get much O2 either.
Knocked that test out of the park. Doctor said I won a prize. Can’t wait to go see what it is. This is kind of like a PSA exam. It's not necessarily one you want to score high on. My wife uses the machine and has had several masks. She likes the current one that looks like a muzzle for a miniature Mexican hairless. Sometimes I think she needs to wear it while she is awake, too, but am not about to cross that line.

I get tangled in the hose at night. It's time for me to try another mask. I can say, If I do not use the mask, I wake up very tired. I have a spare I take on vacations and fishing trips.

I want to ask you does your wife complain that it leaks air at night ? My wife has been on one for little over a year but her mask has the velcro straps and i think they are getting stretched out and getting loose . The air noise is starting to keep me awake at night . She has the same noise piece but the head strap different . Where did you get yours ?

I don't see how anyone could sleep with any contraption like that on their head.

I don't see how anyone could sleep with any contraption like that on their head. They get use to it easily . Better air too and blocks out bad odors !

I to am addicted to the hose. Welcome to the club. I fully believe I would be dead by now if I hadn't been diagnosed. Same here I have been on it since 2011, I know it saved my life. either by not dozing off driving or by not stopping breathing at night. I had a coworker that his wife found him dead while they were on vacation in a motel. Good luck, I hated mine at first but love it now.
