what can anyone tell me about a place called Axton's or maybe Acton's. Good? Bad?, whatever info is available. I've never heard of it, but a friend is planning to stay there next wk.

If it's Axton's Bass City, it's on Fork in a convenient location. Never been in there, but you're close to the action and can get anywhere easily! Good food and fishing in the area.

If it Is Acton, TX...That's a different direction and a whole 'nother story!

Axtons has been around since the 90's. I went by there a couple of months ago and it looked like they had a lot of construction going on even in the store/office area.

It has new owners this year and they have redone the place but other than that you will have to call them for additional details.

Their restaurant is very good.
