Just wondering. How many run the Fish symbol ID on when using your Electronics? Is there an advantage either way?

I use it with Humminbird units since it only assigns the symbols if the fish quality for a symbol.
I helps seeing fish in cover and also shows whether to attempt a catch or not=no symbols=no fishing. Also shows when feeding is going on.

Those are some great shots but still leaves me wondering why most of the Pro Fisherman don't use Fish ID

I use it when looking for crappie or sand bass on structure. When I bass fish I don't use it.
