Lake levels are low so if you don't know the lake really well, be careful of submerged dangers to your Boat. Hydrilla is there but fishing it hit and miss in many areas. Bass populations vary in different parts of the lake so it's hunt and peck mostly.

I fished last week and there is lots of hydrilla. It is very difficult to fish shallow and I had to clean my TM blade often. Fishing a Texas rigged bait out in 5 to 6 feet was still difficult. Also the lake is fishing very spotty. I got 5 using a weightless stick bait in areas that had a couple of feet of water above the grass. I spoke with a guide back at the ramp at the end of the day and he said his clients got 45 by 12:30. I guess it was true because fishermen don't lie, right? He and I were in the same general area using basically the same bait but he was dialed in and I was not.

Guides get paid to say they caught more fish than regular folks.

Lol, some might be “smashing them” but I had no problem sucking today!

Clark3, what format will you be filming for? Do you have a YouTube channel or what exactly?

Hey Clark, I see you're from Haslet. There used to be a guide on Ray Roberts Keith Roney. He still around there?
