Does anybody run the smaller 24 series batteries for your trolling motor? If so how so you like them and any issues running them all day?

I think 27 is the smallest I have heard of anyone using for trollers if they're fishing all day, and those folks usually upgrade at some point.

I've always ran 24 size.. You can get Interstates at Academy for $89. Great batteries!

Any problems with running it all day? I have a 36v fortex No problems all day with a 24v MotorGuide and Minn Kota.. Can't speak for a bigger trolling motor.

I’ve run 24’s and went to 27’s when replaced. Can’t tell no difference

it is all about reserve capacity, check the difference between a 24 and 27 then a 31. I run 3 grp 27 dekas, had a 112 fortrex and now a garmin force on 36v. have yet to notice a drop in power and I use it a lot when on the water.
