I have a heavy duty one with new tires and wheels. Set up for two kayaks. Adjustable bunk brackets so that they can be made to fit any kayak. Big enough to hold two PA14's side by side. PVC tubing on new treated bunk boards. I sold my second kayak so no need for a trailer now. Tires and wheels were about $150, so this is cheap if you need it. Registered in my name for maximum of 500 lbs, so it does not have to have brakes. I'll take $250 for it just to get it out of my way.

OP sounds like Wayne has a deal that is too good to pass up. The PVC pipe and brackets cost tabout that much

You get out of it what you put into it!

I bought a jon boat trailer from Academy (made by McClain). I think the trailer goes for around $600 new. It's galvanized metal with aluminum in some areas (all great against saltwater). I believe the price has gone up some since when I bought it. I took this trailer and retro-fitted it for kayaks. I can put up to two PAs on the trailer side-by-side no problem. I've had up to four kayaks on this trailer (stacking the other two kayaks on the top of the bottom two). To retro-fit the trailer, I spent about $100 in parts. This trailer has done well for me in the past five years I've owned it. If this interests you, hit me up and I will be happy to send pics to show you the setup. 832-588-7091

PS: The wheels on this trailer have given me no problem when at highway speeds. Some trailers, such as Harbor Freight trailers, tend to become problematic when hitting those highway speeds. Those smaller wheels are not designed for high speeds on the highway. My trailer has no issues with it. Another great thing about the trailer I own is that I can back it into the water, like loading and unloading a boat, and load/unload the kayaks with no lifting whatsoever. I can leave the kayaks on the trailer when I arrive to my destination to fish, then get the kayak set up, finally backing it down into the water to unload the yak. When I go to unload, I have a rope tied on the end of my yak (at the carry handle). The rear of my PVCs on the trailer are submerged in the water. I push the yak back in the water allowing them to become completely off of the PVC rack. Finally, I pull the rope to the side to bring the yak back on shore. Now I am able to drive the car/trailer off of the boat ramp to park. From here I can head back to the yak and launch. Anyone that has been fishing with me absolutely loves this as it makes it so easy to launch. The fact that when setting up the yak and you never have to bend over makes it easy on the body as well as the ease of launching.

Yep, you can easily dump $250 in a brand new trailer and $500+ in a project trailer.

If I was looking for a trailer, I would bid you up to $300 for Wayne's trailer. Just being honest...lol.

I don't have an pics right now and its raining. I will try to get some pics tomorrow. This is an old boat trailer that I converted. Has 13 or 14 inch wheels and tires (can't remember, but it is NOT the little tiny trailer tires. tires and wheels are both new with about 100 miles on them. I actually spent over $500 on this trailer two years ago. I had it set up to haul and Hobie Outback and a 16' Wilderness Tarpon. I sold the Tarpon and the Outback will fit in my truck, so no need for the trailer. Bunk Brackets are new, treated 2X4's are new with 3" PVC mounted on tip of them for the kayaks to rest on. Bunk brackets can be adjusted to fit almost any kayak.
