I guarantee he caught a bunch of fish with a hole in their mouth already lol. And whoever goes in there today will get the same. They are swarming that little pocket.

Those fish practically had their backs out of the water yesterday, it was cool to see, they were waking everywhere around MDJ and Poche

I fished today and did ok. Not like MDJ but caught plenty of slots. Water temps were still in the 50's in Williams. Little Caney was around 60 and Glade was 64-65. Caught fish all over the lake but the warmer the temp the better the bite. Pretty basic

Sinkey, you're excluded from the pack. You average 60-90lbs a day. When your wife fishes with you.

She can catch them for sure Fouz! Lol.

But to answer your question. It’s been pretty good. There’s been some tough days thrown in due to weather changes. But fishing has been pretty dang good. I know 2 guide friends of mine Zach Hughes and Eric Wright both have been catching some big girls. With some of those over 10. Zachs clients had one over 10 right next to us yesterday. Needless to say. They were screaming and going crazy. But that’s what it’s all about. Pretty cool deal indeed.

Some similar results caught in Media Bass and BASS kayak yesterday with a tougher day of fishing. Two overs were caught in Media with a 10.75 and 9.75 big bass. Unknown was how many slots were caught but for me it’s was a lot less than Friday. On the kayak side the winner had over 100 inches of fish for 5 bass. In perspective that’s like a 30 pound sack. This weekend kicked off the spring and it’s only going to get better for the next few months. When BASS comes in late spring you will see similar results with less pre spawn fish and more post spawn fish.

Something to note between the two days was the wind shift. Friday was a NE wind and the fish ate everywhere. Yet on Saturday the wind shifted out of the South and a lot of guys fishing the areas of day 1 leaders struggled. Today the wind shifts back NE and it will be interesting to see if the lake goes crazy again as it did Friday.

They hit it perfect, most of the big bass moved up over the last few days.
