I haven't been on the water but living in a lake-side subdivision, I feel like they should be shallow real soon. It was 70° when I got home at 0400 this morning.

Well, it was an ok day...

Had to cut the day short at about 3pm.. Trolling motor fried itself. Its okay though, I've been waiting for that POS to take a hike so I can replace it.

All day caught a total of 7 bass, 1 crappie. Biggest bass was maybe 3...? Crappie was actually a solid one. Caught every single one up in Lake Paula near Stowaway on texas rigged plastics. Made the run down to south of the lake and didnt get a bite, so went right back to north of 1097

Not a bad day actually. Caught quite a few 2#ers and lost a couple bigger ones at the boat.

Same for me yesterday, lots of 2 pounders but I couldn’t catch anything big. Talked to a crappie fisherman I see a lot in the sane area and and he said some guy caught a 7 pounder yesterday morning back where we were fishing.
