Just wanted to let everyone know due to corona. Luminant website: ATTENTION — Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Comanche Peak nuclear power plant and it's surrounding property is currently enforcing a "no visitors" policy, which includes Squaw Creek park. The fishing program is temporarily suspended and no access to the park will be allowed

Since this is a private lake and the owners charge entrance fee and only let the public in on certain dates and times and dictate what time you can launch and when you can leave the buoyed area.
Why is there a game warden there? And why is a Fishing License required?

Why is there a game warden there? And why is a Fishing License required? Private lakes can have the same regulations as public lakes and invite TPWD to regulate them. Guessing you’ve never read the terms and conditions on luminants page when you register and just check the box

I swear I read more on this forum about Squaw Creek than any other lake in Texas.. I'm going to have to make it up that way someday...
