Have you guys been catching fish like these guys?
Sinkey, you're excluded from the pack. You average 60-90lbs a day. When your wife fishes with you.

It’s timing. I’ve been mostly struggling with the rest of the crowd. Over the past 3 weeks it’s been 4-6 fish a day. Yesterday I smashed the slot fish all over the lake same as the pros. Water temps jumped 5 to 10 degrees all over and a big wave of fish moved up and started feeding. Check the Media Bass and BASS Kayak results later today and you may see similar results.

Just do a search right here for the past 2 weeks. People had Fork dead and buried. Its gonna be like previous events where us locals were strughling then a pro event shows up and crushes tgem. Then of course everyone was on that bite... ....just look at the posts after Champs had no overs. I will wager very few if any are catching 9lbers on frogs like Christie.

Im sure the water temp now being in the mid 60-s out there has helped out a lot with the bite. Last weekend most of the temps I saw out there were 55-57.

When you put that many good fishermen on a lake some will always catch them. Look at the list for day one there are plenty that struggled so not like it was on fire.

Definitely timing, a giant wave pushed up overnight for the pros. Daniels even said there were only 2 fish in his pocket in practice and yesterday it was loaded

Well, two weeks ago I caught them just like JVD out there. But the water was 8-10 degrees cooler and no fish were up spawning. Looked like 75% of the fish caught were on beds yesterday. Still hard to catch if your not looking at them.
I hate photobucket.

Weather did not hurt them at all yesterday either. Clouds and undulating pressure with the storms that passed nearby off and on all day.
Grateful for every sunrise and sunset I get to witness. - Jason

We fished that exact same pocket MDJ was in on Wednesday, we caught about 20 males in there. There was another boat in there and they caught around as many as we did We were a day or two early because he obviously hammered them in there
