Mar 11, 2020 GOOD. Water stained. 55-58 degrees; Largemouth bass are good on plastic worms or creatures, spinners, and crankbaits among vegetation, moving shallower into spawning activity. Sunfish are fair on worms and crickets around bank ledges and structure. Catfish are good on stinkbait, live bait, and cut bait.
I was on the water yesterday and the water temp was 70º to 75º.

Where hell did you find water 75 at. At the discharge. 70º at the east end of the dam.

That’s the same report, different date and lake, for almost all of them.
What a f————- joke. Our tax payers money HARD AT WORK! I’m stupefied as to how they think those blanket reports are even passable.

I heard the guy that does the early morning call in guide fishing show on KRLD dallas talking about this, apparently at one time long long ago they had some of their staff, (its some of the same guys that work with Barry Stokes tv show) doing the reports and they were accurate and credible. I remember using them and the baits recommended each week working, really well sometimes! At some point TPWD put the reports out for bid and this resulted in outsourcing these "reports" to some group out of state, the radio guy wasn't very happy about it.
