Scott Canterbury had a video on Bassmaster and stated the palomar knot is not good for flouro. I know there's been many discussions on here about knots but I've rarely had a knot failure with flouro(Invisx) with line as light as 10 lb test and fish over 9 pounds. He ties a cinch knot. Thoughts?

I tie an improved cinch not for everything except a drop shot. The drop shot is a palomar with the tag end back through the eye and the weight attached.

I tie 3 flouro to lure knots 95% of the time... improved clinch knot, improved palomar (both with extra loop through hook eye) and a uni knot. I tie a double-uni for braid-to-leader. Mostly 10, 12, and 14lb test so I draw the knots slowly to tighten to reduce friction and heat.

I have trouble with a palomar, I can tie a twice through the eye uni easily. I can't say that the uni has ever cost me a fish. Caught some pretty big cats and stripers. I only wish I could say I've landed a DD LM using that knot.
GOD is good!

Look up the Swindle’s favorite fluorocarbon knot on YouTube. I’ve seen others tie it but never got a name from anyone. I love that knot! I have been using it for several years. I only wrap 20 lb and up line 4 times and anything less I wrap 5 times. I use it on mono and braid also with 6 wraps. The knot is Easy to tie. Even in the dark once you tie it a few times. Holds great. I will say like others though, use what you can tie well. Most of the fish I loose due to broken line is because it was the 5th or 6th fish out of the brush and I didn’t retire knowing I should have!

KVD uses palomar. I use the double palomar with braid.

I think the palomar was the first knot I learned to tie, it has never failed so i just stuck with it.
