Had a buddy tell me that a friend said the ramps were back open as of 2 days ago? Any truth to this? Or just gettin my wheels spun?

Live here in town and haven't heard anything as of yet.... I can tell you I'll be riding by to take a look after work today. Will comment back.

I live in Mt. Pleasant. Monticello Park is Closed.. I Still see fishermen on the rip rap on the west side of 127 bridge and I see several fishing in their kayaks. I drove down earlier this week to the Park to confirm. Maybe one day....it will reopen.

I have spent a bunch of time and effort trying to re-open access to this amazing place. So far, every angle or attempt has failed. There are still a couple of routes with some hope but it's not a highly probable deal at this point.

I've done the kayak thing a couple of times and its fun but its a long haul from that bridge up North.

It was meant to elicit a chuckle. But it’s also factual. I have Been to monti in the spring and nov 17/18/19 and fish kid week. And at times there would be 3-4-5 “lake fork” guides there.

Would y’all keep plowing a field that didn’t have the crops it used to and starve your family?
