Should be time to break- out the long poles and start working the pre spawn area.

I normally break out the long poles when they are transitioning after the spawn when they could be anywhere...... but that`s just me.I suppose you could do the same before the spawn but in my experience if you find the males in their Tux`s & up shallow the females are usually on the next breakline waiting to come up. Has anyone else had this experience?

Been my experience with the male/female scenario, just not yet this year. Feel like that will change over the next few days though. My usual close to home spot just hasn't really hit as of last Friday. Never tried trolling though.
