All fish within 5-6 ft from bank, jig/bobber and curly tail grubs, 16th oz, suspended 18 inches down in no more than three ft of water. Time to go getcha some!! All fish caught between dusk and just after sunset.

Got unto em again last night. Same depth but hovering over rocks. More bass than crappie last night but crappie was hefty. Bass decent.

Well, this afternoon, in the river only the baby white bass wanted to play. 6 Between 7 and 9.75 inchers. In the small lake next to the river bottoms, where hefty crappie have been the order of the day, only those pesky largemouths wanted to have some fun with Nathan and me!

The largemouths are moving in even closer now, 1-3 foot from shore, in 2 ft of water or less. The ones we caught today we're hovering in rocks, staging, but not yet bedding, for the spawn. A white 16th oz curly tail grub for me, and a "bleeding shad" roadrunner for Nathan worked today. Parallel to bank casting, slow steady retrieve
