I think you're good because the boat contact rule only pertains to tournament hours, not for pre-fishing. The only real question is whether your jersey and straight bill will be dry by tournament day.  I’m good on the jersey because I bought multiple ones from tackle warehouse. I did however lose my white oakleys in the debacle. I was going to ask anout the White shades!
