Hey yall!
My 10 foot ProAngler rod's cork handle is cracked pretty bad and will need replacing soon-- does anyone have experience in know how to get the cork replaced?
Also, any tips on preserving cork would be great as I just bought another cork ProAngler
Thanks!!!

I’ve replaced a few handles. You can remove the old handle with steam. You can buy new handles from mud hole and slide it on. You can find YouTube videos on how to do it. My dog loves blue slime and he chomped the end of one of my rod grips pretty good. I used a Winn wrap to patch it back together rather than replacing the entire handle. Not the prettiest rod in the boat but the wrap worked good. There is also a heat shrink tube you can order from Amazon and installs over your existing grip that would probably be the best option. Have seen custom rods that were wrapped with para cord that looked good too.

I only use Pro Angler rods, but avoid this problem by using evo handles. I was once forced to buy one cork handle because Tex only had 9 when I wanted 10. I have since wrapped the cork with wide tape. I don't care for cork handles-never have.
