Lake Fork Report 3/5/2020
As of this post the water level on Lake Fork is at 402.65 and the temperatures where I have been fishing range from 54-58 degrees. Most parts of the lake are stained to muddy where I am fishing.
The last few weeks I have been watching a lot of fish push up shallow. I believe we âcouldâ start seeing some fish move on beds in about 1 - 2 weeks - unless a massive cold front moves in.
Overall the fishing has been solid for numbers and the larger fish have started to chew a little better as well.
I am spending the majority of my time fishing in 1 to 5 ft focusing on the warmest water possible next to spawning areas. On our good days, we are catching around 30 fish and 8 - 10 on the tougher days - which is typical for this time of year.
Falcon Rods loaded my deck with the Expert Series for my clients and we're going to put them to work - If you get a chance please visit them at www.falconrods.com
