Lake Fork Report 3/5/2020 As of this post the water level on Lake Fork is at 402.65 and the temperatures where I have been fishing range from 54-58 degrees. Most parts of the lake are stained to muddy where I am fishing. The last few weeks I have been watching a lot of fish push up shallow. I believe we “could†start seeing some fish move on beds in about 1 - 2 weeks - unless a massive cold front moves in. Overall the fishing has been solid for numbers and the larger fish have started to chew a little better as well. I am spending the majority of my time fishing in 1 to 5 ft focusing on the warmest water possible next to spawning areas. On our good days, we are catching around 30 fish and 8 - 10 on the tougher days - which is typical for this time of year. Falcon Rods loaded my deck with the Expert Series for my clients and we're going to put them to work - If you get a chance please visit them at www.falconrods.comSHALLOW BAITS 1-5 ft V & M Chopstick - Rigged with a 3/0 Wide Gap - (Texas Smoke) (Okeechobee Magic) Chatterbait Jack Hammer (white) (white chartreuse ) - TRAILER - Lake Fork Live Magic Shad (white) Owner Flashy Spin 1/8 oz TRAILER LIVE MAGIC SHAD (white) DEEPER BAITS 5-10 While I am mainly focusing on the shallow water fishing, I am still able to catch a few fish staging out a little deeper. Hard Head Underspin 3/8 oz – TRAILER - Skinny Dipper (white trash) Rick Clunn Suspending Jerkbait (shad colors) I hope this information can help those of you coming out to Lake Fork here in the next couple of weeks. For those of you looking to get out with me for a guide trip - I still have a few days left in May & June and would love the opportunity to work with you. Thanks, E 972 757 7947

Thanks for the report Eric. Were still planning a May outing. Just need to know my son's schedule.
I fish on a 14 ft piece of plastic.
