What are you using now? I use a RAM Ball Mount and it is not the best, but for my console the ball mount option is the only option I have found to put the graph on the side of the console. Some newer versions of my boat have flatter areas for better models, I couldnt make them work. Would need to know the boat type and current mount to really point you in a possible direction, because I have bought a bunch that I just couldnt make work with my setup.

I have 2008 198 champion, just do not want to block my vision, I am just not too sure about the 12" going on my Ram that i had my 9" on. Real new at my age to these big units just would like to see what is their better compared the old flasher i grew up on at Toledo Bend.

Two things to really improve a Rammount:

1. Friction tape

2. Rammount wrench.

I have one of these on the side of my 202, solid as a rock in concrete. the other is a 2" regular ram mount I use for my bird with boatlanes, that one will be gone as soon as vick has a card for garmins, swapped positions with the graphs.

This is what I have also. I have one at the console and one at the bow. I am very pleased with it. The price isn't too bad compared to other mounts ($62). Here is the link https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-109HU
