One more caveat..... Drag the c-rig uphill! That was the only way I could get bit. Its a PIA but if you use braid as the main line you can pop it uphill better in the rocks. That's my opinion/ theory anyhow!

I was on the water for about 30 minutes before my trip got canceled due to work. Boy was I pissed... It was just about totally slicked off, water temp was bouncing between 56 and 57. I can't fish tomorrow so I pulled the boat out of the marina. It's back on the trailer ready for the ride home Thursday.
It was nice to visit a lake I loved fishing years ago. My 1st 20lb sack /1st place check came off Stillhouse years ago. I think if my conference would have been in a couple more weeks it could have been epic. Some of the best days on Stillhouse aren't far off guys. Y'all give'm hell for me!
Hopefully I won't have to wait 12 years to come back!

Hows the grass look on Stillhouse? Been a few years since I fished it.

Most of what I found was in the 6 to 12 foot range. Just look for the coots..... grass won't be far off!

Hopefully I won't have to wait 12 years to come back! It’s a really great little lake isn’t it? It can be a little fickle but the fish are fat and sassy! Hope you make it back soon!
