Yup, boat makers are pricing themselves right out of the market.

Wow, you’d think a new boat company would price themselves well below the competition to make a statement and get a following going. That’s big coin right there.

You guys just don't understand the premium market. There are lots and lots of people that will spend that much. They want what they consider the best and don't care what it costs. They have the money, or at least the credit.

Have you looked at what Moomba's cost? I took a walk across the aisle at the KC boat show and looked at that type of boat. Almost all of them are 6 figures and they had more action than the bass boat dealers.

I'll bet Randy Hopper and Earl Bentz are working their plants overtime just to keep up with demand.

Malibu’s top of the line rig is north of $230k for a frigging wakeboard boat. As for Vexus, their rigs are priced right in line with other top tier rigs similarly equipped.

I don't expect prices to go down, I'm just surprised at how many people are out there that will finance a boat that costs that much money. You know very well there aren't many people paying cash for $100k boat.

I have a 27 year old Bass Cat that I've had for a decade that still looks and runs great... banana
