Does anyone know for sure if stubblefield fishing pier is still accessible or not with the construction of the bridge? I have seen mixed reports online and nothing really in recent times. I was hoping to get up and try that area in the next few weeks.

Is the pier on the old bridge?

I am not sure I have never been up that way before. Online it looks like they are two separate structures but I may be mistaken.

Last spring the bridge was completely closed and could not be walked on. I do not think they have made any repairs yet.

Still closed no repairs have been made since the last time I was out there. Some people fish off the bridge, but you probably hook a kayaker under the bridge before a fish. That being said if you have a kayak there's a dirt ramp right next to the bridge.
