I would like to thank each of you for your thoughts and prayers. The OT has some amazing folks.....  After my son was rushed to ER with stroke like symptoms this past Tuesday, they determined he had meningitis after a couple of CT scans, a MRI and a spinal tap. He's been in the hospital all week, getting mega doses of antibiotics through his IV every 8 hrs. He started feeling better Friday and hasn't had any more incidents of paralysis down the right arm and hand. We have been waiting on the results of a blood test that would show if it was caused by an infectious disease, which would force him to remain in the hospital another week. The results came back this morning and it was negative, which tells us it was viral and more than likely caused by a weak immune system as the result of so much sickness at work. They have slacked off on the IV treatments and should be going home tomorrow.
