Iā€™d like to put a trolling motor on my duck boat and looking for info. Iā€™m wondering what trolling motor I should go with, who and where to purchase and install, and how much and I looking at spending.

I plan on fishing rivers, creeks, backwater, smaller bodies of water, etc.

Boat specs
1860 excel w/ 44 Muddbuddy
Aluminum flat bottom
Length 18ā€™
Width 60ā€

Thank you for any input.

After installing a MinnKota Terrova on my boat, that is what I would recommend. The 12 volt 55# thrust will move your boat very well. And the I Pilot is great,.
