Has anyone had an issue with a noisy/grinding Revo S? I thought maybe it was time for a complete teardown, clean, and oil/grease. However when I got things back together, the noise/grinding was still occuring. Less obnoxious, but there nonetheless. I took it apart once again to inspect everything a little closer and noticed that there's scarring on the tensioner pinion gear, on the slotted spool side. Is that something that's prone to failure? I always have the tension set just a tick more than what's needed to keep the spool from moving side to side.

The yoke can wear and that is what keeps the pinion the proper distance from the main gear and that can cause some grinding

That's a shame to hear. I've only been using this reel for a few months. I have a Revo STX that I've been using for a couple years has held up fine, even seeing 4x the usage.
Does anyone know factory dimensions? I could use a set of calipers to see if it's out of spec.
