Went up the creeks that feed the lake during the afternoon Thursday. Water temp 57. Caught a half dozen vertically jigging in cover, normally at 2.5 to 3 feet, and in water 7 feet deep. Spawning has not started. No dinks, all fish were keepers. Speaking to other fishermen, minnows were producing no better. Fish were hitting the bait hard.
