Yeah. He was a good. Saw one the other night where the thug was laying down in a field of tall grass. The helicopter directed the K9 and handler close and then the K9 clamped down on him. He was screaming like a 1 year old.

got up tired & went to work, knocked off 7 hrs later, got home & went on 10 mile bicycle ride with wife ( & my beard), got back home & showered, cooked salmon for supper, after eating we went to see Call of The Wild -> one of the absolute worst movies I have ever seen btw, computer generated anthropomorphized animals .. note to those in charge : Their are no hogs in Alaska & I seriously doubt the presence of ring neck pheasants , if your gonna take a classic book & make a silly cartooonish movie at least get a few of the facts right

Graded exams, worked on class stuff and science stuff, ran a practice with our student academic team, then took a half day of vacation and did a round trip of 5 hours to fetch the grandkid for the weekend.

Fed the dogs this morning, went and got my oil changed, got my truck washed, unloaded the dishwasher then reloaded it, fed the dogs again, then the wife and I went out to eat and then to see 1917. Yes today was the wife’s payday and retirement check day. In two weeks we’ll be broke. Haha.

Yesterday: got yelled at by a few customers over sh*t I didn’t do and had no control over. Yelled at by the boss in front of shipping and made to apologize to the Karen for shipping messing up the address they shipped to. Then found my queen dead and no brood.

Today three fillings and halfway through they found a nerve that wasn’t numb.

I’m in a pretty deep funk at the moment.

I'm late to the party.

Friday the 28th..... I took the day off. My daughter flew in from Austin for the weekend, picked her up Thursday night at the new super clean airport in New Orleans. Friday was a big breakfast, then off to pick up 3 pork bellies, some honey cajun sausage and some spicy hog head cheese, Saia's meat market in Mandeville is the real deal.. Then to see "The Invisible Man", then to Columbia St seafood to pick up some Royal Reds and get my daughter a fried shrimp dinner. Home by 6:30.

Saturday, whew is all I can say. Got up and got the grill going at 7:00 a.m. and started smoking pork bellies for the early birthday party. 12:00 my gf's son in law showed up with a big pot, burner, and 2 sacks of bugs. By 1:30 we had 10-12 folks eating and of course drinking beer. About 5:00 or so, started on margaritas and the ladies had wine, went through a fifth and half of tequila and 4 bottles of wine. About 8:00, out came the karaoke machine and some shine and that went full steam until after 12:00.

Yesterday was a late morning, then back to New Orleans to drop my daughter off at the airport, then home and then cleaning out all the pots and trays and getting 4 bags of trash out to the road.
