Could the coronavirus be biological weapon? It has created global panic, disrupted markets and the supply chains, and rapidly spreading through multiple counties. That's what I thought in the beginning but why would anyone government or terrorist group want to do this? Or was it an accidental release laboratory in China?

This is a new variant on a old virus. It's like saying a mustang isn't anything new because model T's existed a 100 years ago. It's a different beast.

Highly doubtful it's a purposely developed biological weapon in my mind because the mortality rate is so low and the transmission rate is too high. A "good" biological weapon has a mortality rate around 30-50% and isn't very transmissible. This virus looks to have a mortality rate of 2-3% and is highly transmissible. Doesn't do you much good to let a genie out of the bottle that winds up coming back to kill your own people.

We get a virus. Take half the meds you're supposed to. It doesn't kill it fully. Virus mutates and so forth. Over and over and over.
