Last week it was co cold that nearly 60 fingers and 60 toes were frozen. This morning was worse. But what wasn't bad was the wind. Anglers looking for clear water found some but the fish weren't there. By 1 PM they were beginning to bite and those that found them did pretty good.

The fish were caught between 2" and 6'.

This is a 5 fish limit, all fish count 10" up including slots since all fish are measured, recorded and released on the spot.

Boaters Results

First place went to Galen Smith of Alba with 3 bass for 13.70 LB with he Boater lunker of 5.08 LB caught on a chatter bait.
Second place went to Tim Gold of Mineola with 5 bass for 10.43 LB with a 4.31 LB lunker caught on a rattle trap.
Third place went to Dennis Bubinas of Birch Creek with 2 bass for 6.71 LB with a 5.08 LB lunker caught on a slim jim.
Fourth place went to Robert Gaylor of Running Creek with 3 bass for 6.58 LB with a 2.74 LB lunker.
Fifth place went to Charlie Abresch of Hawkins with 2 bass for 5.23 LB with a 2.74 LB lunker caught on a drop shot.

notice that this weeks 5 best anglers were different than last weeks 5 best. Way to go!

Co-Anglers Results caught on a drop shot

First place went to Doug Haeusler of Garland with 2 bass for 9.07 LB with the co-angler lunker of 7.15 LB caught on a black jig.
Second place went to John Berech of Garland with 1 bass for 6.40 LB.
Third place went to Don Cox of Garland with 2 bass for 2.28 LB with a 1.14 LB lunker caught of a chatter bait.
Fourth place went to Jackie Price of Alba with 1 bass for 2.02 LB.
Fifth place went to Dean Smith of Arbala with 1 bass for 1.82 LB caught on a red eye shad.

Looks like the Garland contingent did pretty good today.

There were 36 keeper bass caught today with 13 skunks.
