We will have one more freeze with some ice before springs here. But truly we haven’t had a winter in about 4 or 5 years.

Heard some last night, saw some Monday. Spring is fixin' to sprung. Heard either a crane or a goose this morning flying over my house. Sounded like squawk, squawk....pause...pause...squawk, squawk I heard some that sounded like...kawka, kawka...pause...pause...kawka, kawka.
Don't worry about the mule, just load the cart

Mo rain...mo rain...mo rain - Monday - Wednesday next week. We will have one more freeze with some ice before springs here. But truly we haven’t had a winter in about 4 or 5 years. I agree. Haven't seen an Easter in North Texas that has been warm in a long time.
Grateful for every sunrise and sunset I get to witness. - Jason

Spring's coming. Hope we've seen the last of freezing nights until December. More realistically, don't expect that. The worst winter weather I've seen here in the Heart of America was in late March, cold, lots of snow, lots of wind. And cold. Saw a small flock Friday, couple of larger flocks Saturday. Martens and hummers won't be too far behind. D**n skeeters already here.
Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

When the meadowlarks start to congregate, it's close to full bloom.
