I heard someone earlier this week on the TV (must be truth) say 150 million in the U.S. have been killed by guns since 2007 and that was even before the CV.

My wife has a compromised immune system. She's tried to buy masks at 7 retailers today. All sold out. She said she found some on Amazon from the Philippines but opted not to buy those.

Some places say it can live on a contaminated surface for 48 hours tops, but just saw one that says 9 days. Either way, they'd probably be safe to use by time you need them.

Personally, I want them to use on an infected person to prevent the spread, not a well person....unless the little one gets sick.

Agree and if that was the case, I would just put one on when waiting for a cashier at Walmart or Costco. I bet you could clear a line in about 10 seconds.

I actually got those a few weeks back. Rue had a major surgery. I got them as a precaution in case anyone got a cold while she was still recovering. The Kroger here hasn't had any for a couple weeks. The shelf was full when I got them. If things really got that bad. I have three respirators at work I'll bring home. Plus several cartridges for them.
If y'all really need them. I would be more than happy to send you at least three. No charge of course. The $100k was just because I have a very dark sense of humor. The wife will be at Children's next week. She thinks she can get more there. They have them in boxes throughout the campus.
There are four left in the box. I would keep one for Rue. A respirator wouldn't fit her.

I'm not sure the mask pictured would help that much versus Coronavirus. The box says they have a 99% BACTERIAL filtration. I'm far from an expert, but if I remember my science classes, virus are much much smaller than bacteria and will slip right through that filter.

Likely better than nothing though.
