I am taking my son down to Crystal beach for a few days for spring break , and I don't know much about the area. are there any good fishing areas close are should I try the jetty on north side of bolivar roads ? Sorry for such a broad question, we always take trips down to san luis pass or to port Aransas ( I know those areas well but I really do not know what to do up that far north without driving to the jetty at the channel.) we like to catch piggy perch and such around the rocks and then use them for bait . we love inshore or surf , just need to find the baitfish . We are not picky , just mainly need my son catching .... its just a bonus if we catch something on my bigger rods from the bait he caught us.( you should see how proud he is when that happens ) thanks for the help and hope that wasn't too much of a newbie question . DM my if its a secret

Reach out to TheFluke215 on here, Cody Davis, owner / guide of Green Tide Surf Fishing. He does surf beach fishing guides on Bolivar. Very reasonable pricing and works very hard for you!
Hope this helps out.
