So, is it a mount that turns the livescope transducer into a position to be viewed in Perspective mode?

It's a essentially a 20 degree cone angle placed sideways looking ahead at a max of 50ft. It's not going to work as intended very effictively in deeper water. I'm guessing 10-15ftmax. I could be wrong and hope I am. But, I ordered the mount and plan on making one myself in the meatime when I get some time after the weekend.

I’ll use it at home a lot fishing rock piles stake beds etc.

But for $100 it's a no brainer to get. You can always turn it back to regular forward looking live scope for offshore. I give it another two years, maybe less, before we have a better transducer to expand the forward looking view plane and detail. That's where all brands will be headed and I'm sure they are already researching it.

I have had the perspective mount and update for a few months. I would not consider this a game changer. Livescope with the lvs32 was a game changer imho. I feel it can be another valuable tool in 12' of water or less. Like someone said, for a hundred bucks, what the heck.

Ringfry, do you have to use an allen wrench to rotate it into perspective mode? Seems like it would be helpful to find brushpiles then switch to forward view.

On the wired to fish article it showed 150' of coverage in front of you, so 75 feet each side of the boat looking forward I would think would help find/see brush. But like Skipper said, in a year or two I bet they come out with an all in one transducer. I can't afford these electronics, but it sure is cool how far the technology has come on them.

Ninja, I have had two different mounts and neither are the production model. The production model mount came in the mail a couple days ago but I am in southern Oklahoma this week. Neither of the mounts I had did I have to use the allen wrench to move positions. I would GUESS the production model wouldn't either. BUT that is just a GUESS. I won't know till this weekend.

Nah... not even close to 360. I used my perspective today. I can see just as much with my Lowrance side imaging on the trolling motor .

Which one had a better image in comparison between the two if you don'd mind me asking? Would you rather use the Garmin or the Lowrance if you only had those two choices? And do you really see the fish move or around structure with the perspective?
