The biggest bummer is insurance would pay for a hotel while its getting done, but none of the 3 here are worth staying at.

Seems you went a bet overkill on the carport.

Laminate from Sams. Tile from Lowes. 3000 bucks for materials and the contractor quoted 1000 for labor, but I can see that doubling .

Iโ€™m thinking of doing LVP on the main floor but donโ€™t know yet...about 1,100 square foot and around $11k for the best quote

I did about 1200 sq ' about 10 years ago. Gonna do close to 1000 sq' this spring of mostly vinyl planking. It's already stacked in the house. It needs to be room temp before installation. I'm dreading it. Last round I did it mu ulnar nerve got displaced and entrapped from all the crawling around.

We redid our flooring a couple of years ago, new carpet upstairs and all LVT downstairs. We love the LVT, so much better than carpet downstairs.

Make sure and acclimate the boxes of flooring for 48 hours.
