Just a quick question.

My Jeep has been at the shop where I purchased it for a week now. It is a soft top and get water onto the passenger side floorboard with each rain.

Today, I got a message from the dealer that the parts had been “redirected” elsewhere, so now parts will not arrive until March 3.

I could begin to understand if this were a transmission, or some other big, heavy part. What they are replacing on my Jeep is a door seal. It will fit into a gallon sandwich bag and weighs ounces. How can it take a week?

Am I missing something? I feel I am being jerked around...

I’m pretty sure items from China are either not available or at the least way behind.

Thats the old "regular" order versus "priority" order deal most likely

whats a big deal to you is of no concern to them

Also it doesn't benifit them at all to have the Jeep sitting there waiting. I promise you this happens to me a lot.
