Water temps are in the low 50's, that makes it tough. Whiterock, Bachman, Grapevine, Ray Roberts, Hubbard, and Turtle Creek all hold decent Sunfish, community ponds are also a good bet. Find some rip rap, downed trees or fishing piers.
Don't worry about the mule, just load the cart

To the TFF! Looking forward to seeing your catches and reading your post. Side Note: Right now Bluegills down here are in a slow winter bite. Bite will pick-up from spring all the way through fall. I do not fish your area but can agree with everything Andrew aka Dfitz stated above.

Do anyone know where to find some good blue gill spots to fish in Dallas fort worth area. That is quite a wide area you are asking for information on. You might get some PM's but most will not share info on good spots for such a large area. I will tell you that Harbor bay marina on Ray Hubbard is a good place to start. You'll catch numbers plus some decent size gills in the mix. I have done well on them there in the winter a few years ago, but that can vary. Welcome to the group.
