I noticed I was getting some water past the lock and opened them up to re-lubricate and seal.

I use the oil filter wrench to tighten any loose latches.

Not sure if this is manufacturer recommended maintenance but hey...I do it anyway.

I have to break out the Big Crescent wrench occasionally to tighten mine up but it is a rare occurrence. cheers

Thought I'd update this thread a bit.

Looked at the price of new ones and hit sticker shock.

*You can also replace the O-rings which harden up after some years.

O-Rings 18mm OD 11mm ID 3.5mm Width worked for me.

Recondition the plastic to get them looking close to new with CAR GUYS Plastic Restorer.
