The late winter bite is still very good.Crappie are staging for their upcoming spawn. Also catching some fat female Bluegill hanging out with the Crappie along with some nice Redear !
Fish are being found by brush piles in 16 to 18 feet of water and by overhanging tree limbs in 14 feet of water. Jigs Chartreuse/Red, Yellow/Red, and Chartreuse/Black got great results.
A couple of nice bass were also caught using a White/Red Rooster Tail in about 4 to 5 feet of water. Love this time of year when you can still catch a nice variety of fish. woot

That's some good diner you got there. I've caught a few longears and 'gills while chasing sandies up the creeks with the flyrod. I can hardly call it winter anymore though as the trees are budding out and everything is greening up, heck I've even mowed the yard twice. Can't wait for the Rio bite to start again.

Gitter: Finding eggs in the crappie but no any in the Bluegill. Still a little early for the sunfish.
