Maybe tent camp 2- 3 days next week or 1st week of March - during the week. But with all this Rain and it raining on days Forecast says Low chance and having to reserve spot ahead of time - I may be in Rain.? Website says the Utilitiy sites on the water are Closed for maintenance. So I'd have to get a tent spot in the Grove Area where the Spots are Close to Water but across the lil' road. I don't have anyone who can go so I'll be Solo.

Park Improvement Work Alert!
Beginning January 3, 2020, electrical upgrades will be performed on all utility camping sites at the park. Work will potentially continue up to March 31.

At this time, all utility sites in this period are unavailable for reservation. Grove and Bluff sites will remain available during this period
.

If anybody wants to meet me there and Fish - Holler at me........... Right Now forecast Looks Good for M/T/W 2/24 - 2/26.............

Good luck man! Bait 'em heavy and don't get lazy! Use hair rigs and heavy mono/fluoro leaders to combat zebra mussels.

Catch and release. The dream - to catch one of every species of Freshwater fish in our great state! If only I can resist Carp...

Sounds like a plan! Looking forward to seeing some catches. It usually produces quite well around this time

don't have a kayak so I'll be baiting with scoop taped to a broom stick and spomb. I do have chest waders........foodwise I'll probally stick to hamburgers n brawts on grill n sammiches........camping with a group I'll break out the dutch oven for stew or goolash or such but i think my Buddy still has it at Deer camp.....

Forgot to mention - They are outdoor showers (no roof). You have to walk through the bathrooms to get to them.

My experience at Emma showed that it takes a while to get the fish into your chum. There are a lot of grass carp to be had, including some big ones. Big buffs should show up too.
