Sorry if this was posted somewhere else, but Jason Christie hasn’t caught a keeper bass in 3 full days of competition on the water. Something has to be playing in his head, these are fisheries he should excel at.

How long till he pulls the plug on a disastrous BPT career and heads back to what he did so good at

He is already fishing the Opens this year. Did well in the first one. Read here he has gone through some stuff in the offseason that might his mind elsewhere.

He is one of the best in any league. He will get it together and get back to winning.

Been wonder the same about his slump. Must be something else to it. Especially with the 2# minimum I was expecting him to shine this season.

If he can't catch a 2 lb fish why don't he try fishing for a Big 'un and weigh a few of the 6+ pounders in to break the slump? hmmm

If he can't catch a keeper. Going back to BASS wouldn't change that

Look back at the Classic on Grand where Evers came from behind the last day to win. Christie totally spun out when someone from the bank yelled Evers had a sack. What I'm thinking is the scoretracker is doing him no favors. Hes better off not knowing how others are doing in my opinion . I'm not sure that's even an option to tell your boat official that you don't want updates.
He is a Beast and will get things figured out.

The Guys been fishing the MLF format for years and has done well. Last season was not his introduction to it.

Off the water issues are more likely.

I'll put my money on him in the long run...he's a great fisherman..

Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

Highly unusual for him and I do think he will be back at BASS sooner than later but he will battle out of this and when he does a lot of guys are going to miss him being a non factor, especially with the adjustment to the schedules and rules to slow down the dink fest. I honestly believe he will get a check at Lake Fork.

It's absolutely an option. They can get updates as frequently or infrequently as they want. There are plenty of other threads on message boards saying he went through a bad divorce recently which is most likely causing his slump.
