We drilled two water wells for a retired pro football player on his cattle ranch, the job lasted about 5 months. Once the drilling was completed and we installed the pumping equipment we sent him an invoice for the project. He paid for the drilling portion of the project but would not pay for the pumping equipment. We ended up having to put a lien against his property which didn't help so we just went and repossessed the pumping equipment. why did it take that long?

It takes awhile to drill and case an under reamed gravel packed well especially in a river bottom trying to deal with river rocks the size of both fists. Our drilling mud almost had to have the viscosity of honey to get those rocks up and out.

Yelling at me in a very thick middle eastern accent "YOU ARE AMERICAN WOMAN I AM RESPECTING YOU VERY MUCH! NOW SHUT UP AND LET ME TALK TO A MAN"
"Hold on, I'll transfer you to Maurice. He's gay, you two should get along very well".
Biden famously said in the New York Observer, โI mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, thatโs a storybook, man.โ

Worked for a client in TC who would rave about our work while we were on site and then an hour after we left start sending text messages about how all our work was horrible. Built stone and brick columns for a store bought patio cover three different times and finally had to just cut my losses. What started as a 2-3 day job lasted all week and I never got paid my final installment which was 50% of the total because he added more work mid week.
I have since restructured my deposit and installment payments schedule.
