Hello friends! championjigs.com coming to you here! We currently sale football, brush/flippin' and now ROUND head jigs. And we offer them in MUSTAD, GAMAKATSU or OWNER hooks. However, we are having some thoughts of changing the Owner line to a TROKAR line of jigs. Mustad and Gamakatsu are our best sellers but we want a third option to give everybody the opportunity to find everything they need. Would you be interested in a TROKAR football, ball head or brush jig??? Retail at or around $4.49. We are using this forum to get a feel for the market. We know your time is valuable but respond and let us know what you think. In appreciation for your feedback, if you go to championjigs.com and make an order, enter "TexasFF" as a message to seller at check out and we will throw you in a free gift!! This offer is valid until February 29th Thank you TEXAS FISHING FORUM!!!

This seems like a Ford/Chevy/Toyota/Dodge type of opinion.
I much prefer Owner to Trokar. It may not be as big of an issue with jigs, but in my experience with the Trokar EWG, worm, and flipping hooks that big cutting tip just blows the fish out, and the bigger puncture makes that hook just fall out. Not sure if that would be as much of an issue on the jig side of things, though.

I've got jigs with a Trokar hook but I wouldn't trade the Owners for s Trokar no. They are both better than the Gammy and the Mustad in my opinion.
I can backlash toilet paper.

I wouldn't change from Owner to Trokar with big jig hooks.
I do like the octopus and smaller hooks from Trokar. That cutting point is great with finesse hooks when it's in the roof of the mouth. So, for 1/8th oz jigs and lighter open hook presentations, I'd personally like Trokar hooks.
