What is the worst customer you’ve had to deal with or what is the worst thing they have done . Go !

I had one yell at me to get off his property because somebody dropped the ball and hadn’t spoke with him in 6 months prior to me installing his stuff.

I’ve had customers try to literally/physically write on my work order Covered under warranty .

The list goes on but most of my customers are pretty awesome !

My callers love me. I had one tell me I was a gift from God and today one called me a genius.
But when I did wood trim I did have a fruity soy boy stand over me the whole time and complain about the compressor noise.
I wanted to punch him in the throat..

Should have fired a 6 penny sinker into his forehead.

I worked for a small software company in Flower Mound that did on-site install/training. Another installer had spent a week at a client site in Waco getting them set up.

Monday morning this client calls yelling and screaming - nothing is working, the entire system is down, he's going to call his bank and stop the check and he wants the software removed from his network. He was transferred up the line and no one could get him to calm down enough to get in a word edgewise, much less attempt to troubleshoot. The company president and the salesman got on the call and convinced him to let us at least try to get it working. Ok he says, he'll give us one chance but we better get on it immediately.

So the original installer and I get in a car and hit the road on an unscheduled trip to Waco. This was something we never did - all tech support was by phone according to the contract.

We get to his office and he's sitting there fuming. I think he had been sitting there staring at his screen the entire time we were driving. His assistant comes in with us. The installer finally gets the guy to let us sit down at his computer to see what's going on after us having to listen at length to how he's going to stop payment and he wants all this junk off his network.

The installer types in the guy's user name and then says, "Ok sir, what's your password?" The guy answers, "That's the problem! I can't remember!"

We sit there for a few seconds not believing what we had just heard, and then his assistant says, "Hey wait, isn't your password your last name?" The installer types in the guy's last name and logs in.

"Oh. Huh. I guess it's working now. OK, thanks." and he promptly leaves to go to lunch.

We did a job this past year in San Antonio. The manager of the plant would group text everyone on the job. I'd get so mad and just turn my phone to silent every night. He would dog cuss people and copy everyone in on it. He got behind on payment by over $125,000 and would not even return my phone calls or texts. We finally went around him and got to the right people and apparently we were not the only ones he was doing this too. They fired him within a week after we got to the right people. And they paid us very promptly and have ever since we have gone back for additional work.

We had a customer receive product into his warehouse and then bring it back out 5minutes later saying it was no good-- after a closer look it turned out to be different product than we initially delivered to him and he was rotating his inventory on us.

I had a client many years ago when I was a commodity options trader, he was from Russia. Said he was a gymnastics coach here in the U.S. and assured me he could afford to lose all or part of his investment and knew it was very speculative. Signed all the disclosures and soon after his money left the planet quick. Can't remember exactly what we were trading but it was brutal. He takes me to arbitration claiming he didn't realize he could lose so fast, couldn't afford to lose, and was a preacher, not a gymnastics coach. I don't even know what he was but we paid him off to stfu. Biggest crybaby I ever had as a client.

I have the pleasure of dealing with no customers in my job. As a matter of fact, I deal with very few people at all.

My dad ran a John Deere dealership for years in the 70s and 80s. He had this one customer come in and purchase all his batteries from the dealership. The batteries when purchased had a two year warranty. About 23 months after he purchased the first battery, brought it in and requested a new one. Tested the battery and it was bad, got a new battery. About 23 months after purchasing another battery, same story. This was repeated another time. My dad suspected that he was bringing old batteries back. When one was replaced, he started etching the date into the top of the battery. They must have started making batteries a lot better because the guy never brought another one back.

Funniest that I remember was a customer who was stark raving mad that his pizza was delivered cold. He posted 1 star reviews about my company on Google and Facebook about how we would not work with him to correct the issue.

We're a foundation repair company. We do not make, sell or deliver pizzas.

On the less funny side, we did have a customer that threw bricks at one of our crews.

My job is dealing with wizzed off customers, some legitimately mad and some being crooks or just stupid. I’ve been escorted off job sites after providing an unpopular stance on an issue, I’ve had people contact our CEO to complain, etc. I’m never emotional or angry when I meet with them, just factual and professional. It gets old sometimes
