Thanks for the write up. Best explanation I have heard.

Fayette was fishing bad back in the summer, well before any turnover.

I slayed all summer. Zero issues until mid October. I was out this weekend and did well despite the massive number of tournament guys out there.

I caught em pretty good during the summer, not on the bank.

I think Fayette can be tough in the summer always, this year I thought it was fishing very good in the summer, several 40 fish days.

Maybe it was just the nights our club guys fished. Pre-fish and tourney was pretty tough compared to years past.

I ONLY fish Fayette during the summer. To many boats during winter/spring fishing for fish on the bank. Summer I can have schools all to myself and fish for 25-30 pound limits.

Uh huh. MLF version right?

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

No buddy. MLF can suck a fat one. 5 fish limits is true bass fishing. And I'm being 100% serious, there are schools on Fayette where every fish is over 4 pounds with the occasional 7-9 pounder thrown in. Most people throw Carolina rings and that just doesn't catch that caliber fish as much. Those big ones eat big gizzards and tilapia on fayette.

One additional note: The bigger bass also eat large bluegill. I have cleared the throats of a few 5 lb. plus bass that had large bluegill stuck in the throats/gils.
