It's a frog that is colored like a mouse. Fish it anywhere you would fish a frog, and fish it just like a frog.

Well technically it’s a mouse colored like a mouse. Lol Bass eat mice as much as frogs.

It’s not how big your mouse is, it’s how you wiggle it.

Ive got some and ducks and wake bait rats, no luck yet on them. I need to try the mouse when Im on a good frog bite again. mines got a deep keel so its a open water mouse not over scum.

Enough of this lure stuff has caught me, I need to start posting and selling some of it.

It will be the exact same as throwing a frog, IMO

I used to absolutely smash em on the livetarget mouse and somehow forgot about it. I'm gonna have to pickup a couple myself. It would often get more bites than a frog in areas with less cover. Just walk it like a spook.

Some lures catch fish, some catch fishermen. :-)

They work in my neck of the woods, but I can't say they work better. Since I've had luck with it, it gives me confidence. If nothing else maybe the slightly different look and action might help in heavily pressured water.

How much of a bass’s diet is actually made up of frogs OR mice? Pure conjecture. Fact: bass will instinctively smash ANYTHING “swimming” along the surface at the right time. They would hit a tiny unicorn twitched along the surface if the timing was right. Those rats “ungulate seductively” through the water! laugh

Back in the day my dad just bought a piece of land and it had an old pond that was never fished. I looked in the old barn and grabbed an old rod. I ended up with a bobber (it was round, red and white type) and a bare hook. I put the bobber low on the line next to the hook, I chugged the bobber like a popper and got several strikes, just couldn't get them on the hook.
