 13 fishing rods reel seat problems

I’ve got a Muse Black and a brand new Envy Black and the reel seat won’t tighten down snugly on my reels. It’s tightened all the way down, can’t move any further down but There’s still a little bit of play in the reel. Anybody else have this issue or could it be a defect?

I have a couple of Muse Black rods and no issue with 3 different brands of reels.

If you have the receipt, return them.
If not, silicone self fusing repair tape works well to correct this. $4 at Walmart
